Once you have provided us with your layouts either by ftp or by overseas courier, CPS production staff in China will review the files carefully for any potential problems, using both pre-flight software and trained human eyeballs to root out any problems with bleeds, overprints, registration, color modes….we frequently even identify typos.

Generally within 2 or 3 days from the time we receive your files, either digital proofs produced by the CTP method or Wet proofs printed produced by the CTF method (What does this mean? Click here) are Fed-Exed to you for review, along with a detailed report from us containing recommendations and key quality watch points. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, request author’s changes, and suggest color preferences.

Any change requests or key points for your project’s Quality Control manager to keep in mind on press are entered into a project quality control profile, which will be used throughout the remainder of the project.
